Classic White Kitchen

Kitchens have been getting quite the workout in the last 3 years and many of our clients have realized how inefficient their kitchens really were. Non-functional layout, outdated appliances, not enough of work surfaces ... to name just a few repeat complaints.

This project has dealt with all of those issues. Our clients had a very clear vision of the style, ambiance, and functionality they wanted to achieve, when, started discussing this remodel in early 2020. Their lifestyle and growing family demanded more seating at the island, beverage counter for entertaining and clearly defined work stations.

It did not take us long to finalize our layout - using Chief Architect software with 3D capabilities allowed us to look at many variables and select the best options for our clients.

Elegant simplicity of white shaker, paired with timeless cherry stained cabinetry, topped with classic and beautiful white marble (double edged) and charcoal granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances made their kitchen dream come to life.

This stylish and elegantly refined white transitional kitchen space captures our eyes and hearts with its clean lines, sophisticated tones, and updated style. All new - yet it looks and feels as if it has always been here.

DESIGN DRAWINGS SET

The existing kitchen dated a few decades back, It had an oversized walk-in pantry,

gas cooktop on the island,

fridge next to a work station and

wet bar between the kitchen and dining room.

The countertop work surfaces

were somewhat limited and seating and entertaining areas nearly non-existent.

Instintively, our list of changes started with removing the pantry and wet bar, moving the double-wall oven and cooktop locations, to created more efficient work stations.

Using Chief Architect CAD software with 3D renderings and walk-throughs allowed us to plan every single detail of the project, prior ordering all of our products and materials.

By removing the built-in pantry, we've gained enough floor space to enlarge the island for additional storage and seating, including deep drawers for pots, pans and plates, and KitchenAid mixer pull-up stand.

Our long 'utility' wall was now able to house fridge, double wall oven, tall pantry cabinet, and a microwave drawer. Even had enough space left for Docking Drawer, file cabinet and open shelves for cookbooks...

Creating a bar area on the sitting room side of the kitchen wall presented a wonderful opportunity to connect the two

through with a wine storage shelf.

We purposely selected different doorstyle

and hardware on the bar side. And we also disguised the Scotsman Ice Machine with a cabinet door panel. Glass door (front and side) upper cabinet definitely gave the entire section more of furniture look.
