FARMHOUSE FRESH
Clients have long dreamed of remodeling their primary suite, in modern farmhouse style.
We immediately and instinctively proposed an open plan, with the exceptions of keeping the private WC. Closing off the doorway to owners’ closet allowed for a large shower. Unquestionably, the arched window with cathedral ceiling above would be an intriguing focal point with a freestanding tub just below it. The final floorplan developed fairly organically: a large vanity for her in place where the double vanity used to be, with a topper cabinet to store linens. Husband’s vanity found its place on the opposite wall, next to the new larger shower.
We turned the dark, crammed and outdated bathroom into a bright, open and modern space, tailored to our clients’ tastes and lifestyle, improving functionality, adding modern comforts, all of which inherently improved their well-being.
Even the smallest details, like heated floors, mirrors on the barn doors and calming green-gray wall paint did not go unnoticed and made a big impact on the overall look and feel of this room.
