Gabriela Matuchova is the founder and principal designer at HAUS 2690 DSGN.
She is a skilled, knowledgeable, personable, and passionate residential construction professional specializing in architectural interiors*.
Gabriela loves improving existing and creating new spaces. Her background in construction management gives Gabriela strong advantage when planning a project and troubleshooting issues on project sites. It equips her with unique technical skills and an extreme eye for details - much needed in project development**. design with a complete set of construction documents and scope of work, but also source products, materials and contractors and coordinate/manage the entire process.

Born and raised in then Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic/Czechia), Gabriela grew up with creativity all around her - design and residential construction are in her DNA (and her educational background). Her multicultural experiences allow Gabriela to bring various style outlooks to any project.
Gabriela's love for cooking and baking inspired her to focus on kitchen design and remodeling. She became a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD) with NKBA and partnered with domestic as well as European manufacturers to deliver the most advanced products and bespoke design solutions to her clients.
Gabriela thrives on continued education and professional development, She also enjoys networking events and trade shows. In her free time, she loves to travel and to play sports.
* Interior Architecture focuses on technical aspects of planning and building a room. It incorporates the art of design and the science of architecture, this field involves making the room safe and functional as well as designing aesthetically-appealing lighting, color and texture for a space. In short: we focus on a combination of structural elements, building materials and artistic components.
** Project Development - from start to finish: initial meeting, conceptual design, product allowances, scope of work, GC bidding, design development, construction documents (drawings and detailed jobsite binder), product sourcing and procurement, supervising project implementation, punchlist and photography.
